Responsibilities
- Safely administer medications according to orders, facility policies, and state regulations.
- Accurately document medications administered.
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the appropriate nurse.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
- Follow medication administration and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with residents and healthcare staff.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment.
Requirements
- Active South Dakota CMA/Medication Aide certification
- Current TB test and physical
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dependable and compassionate
- Experience is not required — new CMAs are welcome!
