Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – PRN / Per Diem Join Tri State Nursing!
Tri State Nursing has been providing quality healthcare staffing for over 31 years. We connect dependable CNAs with healthcare facilities throughout Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.

We offer flexible PRN and per-diem opportunities for CNAs who want to choose shifts based on their availability.
Important Position Information
This is a local PRN/per-diem position — NOT a travel contract.

  • You must already be physically located in the state where you are applying to work.
  • We do not provide housing, relocation assistance, or housing stipends.
  • Most assignments are PRN/per-diem, so hours are not guaranteed and shifts may be canceled based on facility needs.
  • Some facilities may offer mileage reimbursement, depending on the assignment and facility policy. Mileage reimbursement is subject to a mileage cap.
  • We do not offer guaranteed hours or traditional travel contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate care and assistance with activities of daily living.
  • Assist residents/patients with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility.
  • Take and document vital signs as required.
  • Respond to patient needs and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
  • Follow facility policies and care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Requirements

  • Current CNA certification in the state where you will be working.
  • Current TB test and physical examination.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Dependable and able to adapt to different healthcare environments.


Previous CNA experience is not required. New CNAs are welcome to apply!
