Certified Nursing Assistant Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Assess, monitor, and manage residents to ensure their well-being, safety, and health 
• Provide help with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene 
• Assist residents with tasks of daily living 

• Record patient vital signs such as accurate blood pressure checks 
• Help residents maintain health by encouraging participation in activities and exercise 
• Make beds, serve meals, and keep rooms clean 
• Maintain medical equipment and assist with certain medical procedures 
• Answer requests for help and observe variations in patient’s behavior or condition. 

• Perform other duties as assigned 

Requirements and Skills 

• High school diploma or GED 
• CNA certification 

• Demonstrated experience with specialized materials 
• CPR Certification preferred 
• Ability remain calm under stressful situations 
• High level of personal effectiveness and credibility 
• Teamwork oriented
