Job Overview:
Position Type: Instructor Role – Classroom & Clinical Education
Location: Onsite – Sioux City, Iowa
Schedule: Flexible, based on course programming (weekday availability required)
Job Type: Part-time or Contract
Pay: Competitive and based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Lead CNA classroom instruction and clinical skills training according to state-approved curriculum
Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on learning for aspiring CNAs
Supervise students during clinical rotations in long-term care settings
Provide guidance, evaluation, and feedback to support student success
Ensure all documentation and instruction meet state and facility compliance standards
Collaborate with Tri State Nursing leadership and education staff to improve training outcomes
Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of Iowa (required)
Minimum 3 years of recent long-term care experience (required)
At least 2 years of experience in a Charge Nurse or supervisory role (required)
Prior teaching or preceptor experience preferred but not required
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Must be passionate about educating and mentoring future caregivers
