We are seeking a qualified Sleep Tech for an immediate travel opening in Bismarck, ND. The right candidate for this position should have at least 2 years of recent experience. Read below for more information.

Position Details

• Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
• Target Start Date: 10/28/2024
• Shift: 7P - 7:30A Straight Weekends 36 hrsweek.
• Estimated Weekly Gross: $1551.31 - $1649.81 (Must reside more than 80 miles to be considered per facility requirements) 

General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Performs sleep studies and administers treatments on patient with sleep disorders; CPAP, O2, Bilevel

Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
Natus Xltek sleep testing equipment, Resmed Pap machines, EPIC One Chart EMR

Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Minimum of two years of related work experience in Sleep Disorders field preferred..

Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
ND Respiratory Care Lic. and Registered Sleep Technologist, RPSGT,CPR

Shift or schedule requirements.
. Tech will work guaranteed 40 hours, working 12 hour over night shifts

Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
4 sleep beds; 2 patients per technologist

Tech to patient ratio of this unit.
1 technologist per 2 patients in the Sleep lab

Dress Code: grey scrubs

Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.
Orientation week work with day sleep technologists to orientate to One Chart-EPIC and sleep and EEG software. Will learn work flows, hospital layout, policies and procedures, and testing procedures. Work at 1 week nights with another sleep technologist getting orientated to department taking 2 patients with a tech available for questions./concerns before working alone in Sleep Center with 2 patients.
